As you already know, the Loft Boys are big strong guys with a passion for lofts and good customer service.
But what you may not know is that we also have big hearts, so when the opportunity presented itself to help the London-based charity Resources for Autism, we all jumped in.
Like most charities they rely on donations to provide care, and in difficult economic times it is never easy to raise money. And when money is tight replacing an ageing loft ladder is often not on the priority list, even when it is used several times a day to facilitate storage in a relatively small building.
We couldn’t be more supportive of the amazing work the staff and volunteers do every day at Resources for Autism, so to show our appreciation we decided to install a brand new (and safe!) loft ladder to make their lives a little easier.
Liza Dresner, Director of the charity, said: “It is really tough raising money at the moment and a gift like this makes a huge difference. I cannot tell you how this has lifted my spirits and the spirits of my amazing team”
Another job well done for the Loft Boys, and all in the name of a more than worthy cause.
